Robome AI
Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 20, 2026
Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains exactly what data Robome AI collects, how it is used, and how it is protected when you use the app on iOS.
Privacy Policy Access
This privacy policy is accessible:
- Online at https://www.robomeai.org/protocol/privacy.html
- Within the app's Settings section
- In the App Store listing
We ensure our privacy policy is easily accessible to all users.
- Accounts — Sign in with Apple and Guest Mode
Robome AI does not require you to create an account. You can use the app as a guest, or sign in with Apple to keep your coin balance, purchase history, and gallery attached to your account.
Guest mode: the app assigns an anonymous account identifier so that your coin balance and gallery work without signing in. This identifier is not linked to your real-world identity.
Sign in with Apple: when you choose to sign in, Apple shares an anonymous user identifier with us, plus your name and email address only if you choose to share them (you can hide your email using Apple's Hide My Email feature). We never receive your Apple ID password. We use this information solely to operate your account.
- Information We Collect
Media You Upload
To generate a video, you provide:
- A photo of yourself, selected from your photo library
This photo is transmitted to our servers in the United States, where our own AI service generates your video clip. The original photo is deleted as soon as the generation process completes, whether it succeeds or fails. Your photo is never used for any purpose other than fulfilling your generation request.
Generated Content
- The video clips we generate for you are stored on our servers, associated with your account or anonymous guest identifier, so that you can view, play, and manage them in your gallery. They are retained until you delete them or delete your account.
Purchase Data
- Your coin balance and purchase history are stored on our servers, associated with your account or anonymous guest identifier, so that the Balance display and Purchase History features work.
Automatically Collected Data
Robome AI does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or attribution tools, and we do not automatically collect device information or usage data.
What We Do NOT Collect
- Name, email, or any contact information (unless you choose to share them via Sign in with Apple)
- Location data or GPS coordinates
- Your contacts or access to other apps on your device
- Payment or financial information (handled entirely by Apple)
- Biometric identifiers for the purpose of identifying you
- Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) — we do not use it at all
- Any information that links your guest identifier to your real-world identity
- How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide Robome AI's generation features and produce your video clips
- Process your photo input via our own AI service
- Maintain your coin balance, purchase history, and personal gallery
- Provide account deletion when you request it
- Maintain the security and stability of the service
- Comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes
3A. User Consent and Permissions
When Permission Requests Occur
Your device will prompt you to grant permission when you:
- Access your photo library to select a photo for generation
Data Collection Types
- Photo Library: required for the generation feature. The app accesses only the photo you select.
- AI Processing: only occurs when you actively start a generation. Your photo is sent to our own AI service in the United States, and the original is deleted as soon as processing completes.
Revoking Permissions
iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Robome AI
- How Your Photo Is Processed
When you start a generation, your photo is sent to our own AI processing service, running on servers in the United States that we control. The following applies to the photo you submit:
- Used exclusively to fulfil your specific generation request
- Processed by our own AI service — never sent to any third-party AI provider
- The original photo is deleted as soon as the generation process completes
- Not used to train AI models
- Not shared with any other party
The generated video clip is stored on our servers, associated with your account or guest identifier, and retained until you delete it or delete your account.
4A. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Robome AI uses AI to generate video clips. Please be aware:
- AI-generated content is provided for creative purposes and may not always match your expectations
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, uniqueness, or quality of generated videos
- You retain ownership of the photo you upload; AI-generated outputs may be subject to additional terms depending on your jurisdiction
- By using AI features, you acknowledge these limitations and agree to use generated content at your own discretion
- Facial Data Notice
Robome AI works by placing the face from your photo into a template video, so a facial image is processed as a core part of the app. We want to be completely clear about what does and does not happen to it:
- To make your video, our AI temporarily detects the face in your photo and its overall position, solely to place it into the template video. This information exists only in temporary memory during generation; it is never written to disk, stored, logged, or retained
- We do not create biometric templates, faceprints, or embeddings, and we never use facial recognition or facial information to identify, profile, or track you, or for anything other than the video you requested
- The original photo is deleted as soon as the video is generated, whether it succeeds or fails
- The generated video is the only output we keep, and only because you asked us to. It depicts your face as part of the scene, but it is a creative video file stored at your request — not a stored facial-data record
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload the photo you use, and for obtaining the consent of any identifiable person whose face appears in it
- Data Processing and Storage
Video generation is performed on our servers in the United States. The app on your device handles selecting your photo, uploading it, and displaying the result.
Data Retention
- Uploaded photos: deleted as soon as the generation process completes, whether it succeeds or fails
- Generated video clips: retained until you delete them or delete your account
- Coin balance and purchase history: retained while your account is active; purchase records may be retained as required by applicable financial regulations
- Account data: retained until you delete your account
-
Coins and Purchases
Virtual coins are purchased through the Apple App Store. Apple processes the payment; we do not process or store your payment data. Your coin balance and purchase history are stored on our servers, associated with your account or guest identifier, so that they persist across sessions and can be shown to you in the app. Generating a video consumes a fixed number of coins, shown in the app before you confirm. -
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share information only in these limited circumstances:
- Apple: Sign in with Apple authentication, and App Store payment processing (Apple handles your payment details; we receive only a confirmation of purchase)
- Legal Requirements: when required by law or court order
- Safety and Security: to protect rights, property, or safety
- Business Transfers: in the event of a merger or acquisition (with user notification)
- Third-Party Services
Sign in and Payments
- Apple: Sign in with Apple authentication and App Store in-app purchase processing
That is the complete list. Robome AI uses no third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or attribution services. Video generation runs on our own AI service on servers we control.
